How does Cadence work during a conversation?

Start listening to transcribe the conversation. When the question is ready, click Answer. Cadence uses your interview context to generate a readable suggestion while listening continues. You can clear the pending question, revisit earlier answers, or pause listening.

Does it answer automatically?

Manual Answer is the default: you decide when a response starts. An optional auto-answer setting is available in the studio. Prepared answers can also be read without generating a new response.

Will the answers sound like me?

Your résumé, background, company, and role help personalize the response. You can choose paragraphs, talking points, or STAR structure. Cadence is instructed to avoid inventing your experience, but AI can make mistakes. Review suggestions and add your real details.

Can I use it with my video meeting?

On a supported desktop browser, choose shared tab or system audio if your browser offers it. For a browser meeting, select the meeting tab and enable audio sharing. You can also listen through your microphone. Availability differs by browser and operating system; try your setup before a real call.

Does it work on iPhone or Android?

You can open the web app in a mobile browser to prepare, read answers, and use microphone transcription with permission. Mobile browsers cannot capture audio inside another calling app. For listening, the interviewer needs to be audible to the microphone, such as from another device. See app and device availability.

Do I need to upload a résumé?

No. You can type your background and interview context instead. A résumé is a convenient starting point. Adding the company, role, and job description helps make your preparation more specific.

Are my conversations recorded?

Cadence does not save audio recordings. Audio is processed by transcription providers, whose terms apply. Your saved session text and interview context remain in your workspace until deleted. Read the privacy policy.

Is it allowed in every interview?

No. Use Cadence for practice or conversations where assistance and transcription are permitted. Follow the interviewer’s rules and obtain any required consent. Cadence does not guarantee invisibility, accuracy, or an interview outcome.

Do I need a subscription?

Yes. Cadence offers Pro and Plus monthly subscriptions. There is no free tier or trial. You can watch the product video and explore the illustrative demo before choosing a plan.

How do answer credits and minutes work?

Fresh AI answers use credits based on the selected model: Flash-Lite and Luna use 1, Flash uses 2, and Haiku uses 3. Reading a prepared answer uses no answer credits. Transcription minutes cover live listening. Paid allowances reset each billing period and do not roll over.

Can I cancel or change my plan?

Manage web subscriptions from Account & cancellation. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access remains through the current billing period. Purchases made through Apple are managed in your Apple subscriptions. For billing help or refund requests, contact us and review the terms.
