cadence.

Privacy policy

Effective September 4, 2026. Cadence is operated by Anderson Westfield, an individual in California, United States. Contact: ajwestfield8889@gmail.com.

Information you choose to share

We process your sign-in identifier and account information; résumé text, interview details, questions and answers you provide; saved preparation and session history; subscription status and usage; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service. Google and Apple sign-in share the basic identity information you authorize. We do not request access to your Gmail inbox.

Audio and AI

When you start live listening, audio is streamed for transcription. Cadence does not save raw audio. Transcribed questions and the context needed to answer them are processed by AI services. You choose whether to enable AI processing, and can withdraw that choice from Account. See our AI and data-use explanation for providers and limitations.

Where information goes

Clerk handles authentication. Convex stores your private workspace and subscription entitlements. Vercel hosts the service and routes AI requests through AI Gateway. The selected models are provided by Google, OpenAI, or Anthropic. Stripe processes web payments, and Apple processes iOS in-app purchases. We receive subscription information, not your full payment-card number. These providers process information to deliver, secure, and support their services under their applicable terms.

Storage and retention

Your workspace stays available until you delete individual sessions or your account. A local copy may also be stored on your signed-in device. We retain limited billing, transaction, security, and deletion records where needed for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Infrastructure backups can persist under the providers’ backup cycles. AI provider retention varies by model and service; we do not promise zero retention across every AI request.

Your choices

You can export your workspace, remove saved sessions, withdraw AI consent, or delete your account from Account. Account deletion removes your active workspace and sign-in account and cancels web subscriptions. Apple subscriptions must be canceled separately in your Apple subscription settings. Contact us for access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests. We verify requests before releasing account information.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted network connections, access controls, and account-specific authorization. No service can guarantee absolute security. Data may be processed in the United States and other places where our service providers operate.

Cookies, sales, and advertising

We use authentication and security cookies and local device storage needed to operate Cadence. We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use your résumé or interview content to train our own models.

Children and changes

Cadence is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We may update this policy as the service changes and will identify the effective date. Material changes will be communicated in the service where appropriate.
